On the flight back from Florida, WH press secretary told reporters on Air Force One Trump plans to sign an executive order aimed at social media companies. WH says the exec order will be signed Thursday.

Oh, excellent. Maybe this will be about the clickbaitey promoted tweets where the picture is never in the actual article:
ABOARD AIR FORCE ONE, May 27 (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump will sign an executive order shortly regarding social media companies, a White House spokeswoman said on Wednesday.
Spokeswoman Kayleigh McEnany made the remark to reporters aboard Air Force One, traveling with Trump to Washington from Florida a day after Twitter Inc attached a warning to some of his tweets prompting readers to fact-check the president’s claims.
Well, I knew it was just a matter of time before this happened:
Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey has been under public pressure to rein in President Donald Trump on the social networking platform.
Trump, who routinely violates the company’s terms of service, has not had his account shut down like the company routinely does when others violate the company’s rules.
Trump accusing MSNBC anchor Joe Scarborough of murder has highlighted the issue.
On Tuesday, the popular “unverified” account @TheTweetOfGod tweeted out a tale of Trump murdering a woman to draw attention to the situation. The story appears to be invented, but spread quickly by fans of the account, which has over six million followers.
Donald Trump killed his personal assistant, Carolyn Gombell, in October 2000. He strangled her because he'd gotten her pregnant and was threatening to tell the press. Then he bribed NYPD Police Chief Bernie Kierik to cover it up. IT'S TIME TO INVESTIGATE. #JusticeForCarolyn

FACT: Forensics at first tentatively matched the residual thumbprints found on Carolyn's neck as 'matching' Trump's own (small) hands, but that finding was later amended and officially ruled 'inconclusive'.

Well, this is interesting. Twitter decided to put two links below two tweets of Trump with his usual lies about mail-in ballots. Trump, ever the orange snowflake, predictably threw a hissy fit. Not sure what he thinks he can do about a private company though.
HA! Yes, I’m sure they will abide by this request:
Hundreds of partygoers spent their Memorial Day weekend living it up in the waters of the Ozarks and now health officials are asking them to isolate for the next two weeks.
The St. Louis County Department of Health issued an advisory Monday evening urging anyone who recently ignored social distancing guidelines while they visited the Ozarks to self-quarantine for 14 days or until they test negative for coronavirus. On Tuesday, the Kansas Department of Health and Environment also recommended a two-week self-quarantine for those travelers.
Of course it isn’t. A shitty platform for the shittiest of people:
(Reuters) – Twitter Inc said on Tuesday it would take no action at this time on tweets from U.S. President Donald Trump about the 2001 death of a former congressional staff member for Joe Scarborough, after her widower asked the company to remove them for furthering false claims.
In a letter to Twitter’s chief executive Jack Dorsey that was published by the New York Times, Timothy J. Klausutis asked that the company remove a tweet by the president “alluding to the repeatedly debunked falsehood that my wife was murdered by her boss, former U.S. Rep. Joe Scarborough.”
Lori Klausutis, who had an undiagnosed heart condition, fell and hit her head on her desk at work. Her death was ruled an accident.
A Twitter spokeswoman said the tweets would remain.
“We are deeply sorry about the pain these statements, and the attention they are drawing, are causing the family,” the spokeswoman said in a statement when asked about the president’s tweets on Scarborough, now an MSNBC television host with whom Trump has brawled.
“We’ve been working to expand existing product features and policies so we can more effectively address things like this going forward, and we hope to have those changes in place shortly,” she said. Twitter declined to say what these policy changes would be.
Trump is mad at Joe Scarborough. So when Trump gets mad at you, he throws everything everything his pathetic and diseased mind can make up. Collateral damage means nothing to him. In this case, Trump keeps accusing Joe of murdering an aide of his back in 2001 (an autopsy showed that she had an undiagnosed heart condition and hit her head as she blacked out) as a way of attacking:
Of course, this does more than just attack Scarborough who is a public figure, but dredges up all the pain and suffering of the family and husband of the aide who died suddenly two decades ago. It also means all of Trump’s cultists will start harassing the family (same thing happened with Seth Rich back in 2016).
Timothy Klausutis, the husband of the aide who died, has written a heartfelt letter to Twitter’s CEO, Jack Dorsey, asking to have him remove the painful and batshit insane tweets from the Impeached President of the United States.
I don’t even know what to say about how low Trump can go. Honestly, if you support this lunatic, you’re just an asshole.
