Republican Voters Just Elected a Dead Pimp to a State Assembly
From NBC News:
LAS VEGAS — A Nevada brothel owner and reality TV star who died last month after fashioning himself as a Donald Trump-style Republican candidate has won a heavily GOP state legislative district.
Dennis Hof defeated Democratic educator Lesia Romanov on Tuesday in the race for Nevada’s 36th Assembly District, which includes rural communities and large stretches of desert in the southern part of the state. County officials will appoint a Republican to take his place in the seat.
Post Election Wrap Up
I went to bed shortly after the Dems took back the House. That was stressful. There were some disappointments like Florida (which is always disappointing) and in Texas we’ll have to look at Ted Cruz’s snivelling face for another few years. But Trump is already very nervous as you can tell by this tweet:
If the Democrats think they are going to waste Taxpayer Money investigating us at the House level, then we will likewise be forced to consider investigating them for all of the leaks of Classified Information, and much else, at the Senate level. Two can play that game!

And some other highlights:
Democrats have *flipped* 7 state legislative chambers and 333 seats, adding 6 more trifectas (gov+both chambers), per DLCC.
Few ever pay attention to these races, but they’re important for redistributing and waves can be leveraged for major gains.

Dave Brat
Claudia Tenney
Kim DavisFor god's sake: let yourself *savor* the fact that we fired all of these assholes.
