I can’t say no to these commentaries on Breaking Bad.
From reddit. It’s a nice gesture. I remember when we went to have Cynikitty put to sleep. His kidneys had failed and there wasn’t much left to do. The hard part was being in the waiting room, seeing people come in with their healthy dogs and cats and knowing that you had minutes left with your friend. Just one of the hardest things a person can do. And it doesn’t help that people react in weird ways when you tell them your pet just died. People always say stupid and awkward things during any hardship but given that some people just don’t care much for pets, the potential for saying stupid things is that much greater.
The prosecution rested on Monday, and today the defense rested, and Manafort will not take the stand. The courtroom was sealed for nearly two hours this morning, then reopened at about 11:30 a.m. with Manafort coming in 10 minutes later. The reason for the sealed court was not disclosed.
The case is being prosecuted by the special counsel investigating Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
1:50 p.m.: Jury returns, hears Manafort defense rest case, is dismissed
The jurors were called back to the courtroom shortly after 1:30 p.m., when they heard Manafort’s attorneys rest their case and say they would not be calling any witnesses. The defense lawyers had announced their intentions earlier with the jury out of the courtroom.
/3 If your defense case is marginal anyway, resting is a way to convey to the jury a level of confidence that the government has nothing. It's a way to emphasize that it's the government's burden. https://t.co/3n2q71JXVJ

Defense counsel for @PaulManafort just told me that the argument over the sealed motion in the #ManafortTrial will continue this morning. Seems like there may be some teeth to the defense motion, which I suspect is related to a mistrial motion for juror misconduct. @MSNBC

.@MarkBurnettTV called to say that there are NO TAPES of the Apprentice where I used such a terrible and disgusting word as attributed by Wacky and Deranged Omarosa. I don’t have that word in my vocabulary, and never have. She made it up. Look at her MANY recent quotes saying….

What a weird way to defend yourself against an allegation. If he never said it would he need Mark Burnett to call him to say there is no physical evidence of it? And why was his spin team planning for an eventual release of a damning tape then?
POTUS says former White House staffer @Omarosa lied when she called him a racist who has said the N-word on tape. But a new recording, obtained by @CBSNews overnight, seems to back up Omarosa's story that several Trump advisers discussed an alleged tape during the 2016 campaign. pic.twitter.com/tV3R6P2TvE
