Yeah, this is annoying:
Apple says it is working on a fix after some users discovered that its iMessage service is not working after they upgraded to its new iOS 7 software for iPhones and iPads.
Since the software was released on 18 September a number of people have complained that messages they send over the service are never delivered. Apple says that it is “aware of an issue that affects a fraction of a percent of our iMessage users, and we will have a fix available in an upcoming software update”.
The issue could affect up to 2m users.
Apple didn’t offer any other information about timing, nor whether the fix would be rolled into other updates for recently discovered problems with iOS 7 such as a Siri lockscreen bug discovered over the weekend with its 7.0.2 update.
