Question of the Day

Which celebrity are you a fan of although you have a feeling that they’re a jerk in real life?

Alton Brown. Good Eats was by far my favorite show on the Food Network. And I have a funny feeling he’s a gigantic douche in real life.

Question of the Day

What’s your favorite job search website?

I’m employed (at the moment at least) so it’s been some time since I went looking for work online. From what I have seen lately, it looks like Indeed.com is the big one right now. Monster looks like it’s about 80% ads.

A friend mentioned Idealist.org although it looks to be geared more for volunteer work.

Question of the Day

If google disappeared today, what services from it would you really, really miss?

Searching, obviously. Gmail. Google reader. Oh, Google Docs. YouTube. Google analytics. I really wouldn’t miss Google + all that much if I’m being honest. I use that as an afterthought really. Oh, google maps! Those are my first thoughts although I’m certainly missing a few.

Question of the Day

Today’s question comes from Christina:

“If you could relive any day over again, Groundhog Day style, what day would it be?”

I’m gonna guess that the majority of answers to this will be either be babies being born or couples being wed.

And I’m going to be in that majority. It was the day I got married to the love of my life. We’re both shy and hate being the center of attention and we didn’t want to spend a huge amount of money. We decided to go to Vegas and get married in a small chapel. No stressing about caterers, or worrying about seating plans or how family would get along with each other. The focus was about us and our love for each other without any distractions. Perfect.
