March 31, 2005Morning Glory SpillwayTake a look at this picture.It is part of the Monticello Hydroelectric Power Plant called the Morning Glory Spillway (Glory Hole, it was named that in 1957 people. Mind out of the gutters please) that allows water to bypass the dam when it reaches capacity. Neat! (Thanks spigoo) |
