From Nina:
Hello i stumbled onto your website when looking for information for my research project, and i have to have it in mla and i need your last name to cite your website so i do not plagarize your words. if you could email me back that would be greatly apricated.
I have a feeling that properly citing this blog is going to be the least of Nina’s problems with this paper.

Perhaps Nina thinks Chris needs a tan????
You do look a little pale Chris
four reel
She doesn’t want to “plagarize” your words, huh. Hmmm…I didn’t know you could write a paper about “Question of the Day”.
Maybe she’s researching the LD50 for Ingersoll.
LOL@lumo
It’s all in the blog title. (Mr.) First Name: Cynical Middle Name: C (Chris) Last Name: Blog.
the least of her problems? hummm…
I have to give her some credit. I know that I tell my students that if they can’t find the full and real name of a person (or corporation, which is legally a person), who takes responsibility for the information on the website, then they should doubt its credibility and think twice before using it. So she’s trying reeeeeeelly hard to legitimize using your site.
With that said, what in the name of chtulhu is she writing about that she wants to use your site (outside of an analysis of web culture for which she prolly wouldnt need your last name)?
On the one hand, they say to use the full name when citing someone on the web. On the other hand, we tell kids not to use their full real name on the web. I guess that’s the way to tell authorities from kids. That makes me a kid!
I feel pretty bad for Nina. her intentions were good, if not misled, but some comments are pretty mean-spirited.
Making fun of Glenn Beck’s gaffes i can understand. but a random internet stranger who means well? it’s not even something I would do if I were bored at work.
I dunno, given the number of potentially violent religious nutjobs in the world, it’s probably not a good idea to make yourself too traceable.
@Chris: Are the spelling/grammar errors are consistent with your hate mail? (I presume you get hate mail – but you don’t share)
I’d love to read that paper.
That is awesome
I want to read this paper…
