Oh, man! “Reeves” literally means a gov’t official and is similar to ‘baliff’. And ‘baliff’ is derived from the Latin ‘baiulus’!
Roughly, it means a person in a police/custodial role. Like an eternal, unaging overseer maybe? Ah crap! How deep does this rabbit hole go?!?!
Did everyone else miss the part where he was given a time machine? This shouldn’t be news, people.
Then it’s no wonder why his acting is so stiff…. He’s PETRIFIED!!! Anyone besides me see his horrible performance in the remake of ‘THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL’??? Maybe the WORST MOVIE of the 21st Century…
