Anderson Cooper Tries to Rationalize the Irrational

Anderson Cooper interviews Palin’s spokesperson, Meg Stapleton and gets a clear, concise pile of gibberish for answers. Something about her trying to save Alaska by resigning kind of makes sense but not in the way I think they want it to. And then a bit about a ball and a guard and a pass of some sort. Something about in order to lead, you must quit. It is very inspirational.

  1. I think one or more of these “internal investigations” may have found something on her….Trooper-gate, anyone?

  2. Erich Schrempp,

    What? No “Maverick” references?

  3. Justin,

“the world is LITERALLY her oyster”!!!

This woman may be the perfect spokesperson for Sarah Palin.

  4. Adam,

I think he handled the basketball crap brilliantly :)

  5. Meg,

What a horribly condescending woman! “Ever heard of a Blackberry? Lol, I’m so clever.” I didn’t think it possible, but she’s as infuriating as Palin.

  6. Mike K,

Her answers are as vague as Palin’s.
“She’s free to lead however she wants now”
    “In what way?”
    “All sorts of ways”
    “Like what?”
    “Anything under the sun.”

I thought it was the Katie Couric newspaper question all over again.

  7. Mike K,

And to anyone that donated money to SaraPAC:

    “Where’s your Messiah now?”

  8. lumo,

I’m worried that our oyster is under the sun.
