That’s an Umbrella Cockatoo. He can more than take care of himself; the kitten (or even a full grown cat) is no match. But, since they’re both pets, it’s not likely either animal will get out of line with the other.
I just noticed the ‘too was “petting” the kitten’s mouth. My Parrot loves to have that area where his beak connects to his face rubbed. I guess it’s a bit itchy there.

There’s something quite sinister about that.
I’m guessing that 30 seconds after the camera was turned off the kitty decided that he/she has sampled enough parrot foot. Now it’s time to chow down.
