…plus we started off with Super Pong in my household (4 games on one system!!!) so i have fond memories. I have since grown out of these, but theres something about the old designs that just whispers pure sweetness into my ears.
We had an Odyssey 2000 when I was a kid. It was a hand-me-down from my uncle who bought it new. All the other kids on our block had the Atari or Collecovision or something… we had three versions of Pong. weeeee!
I have pictures of myself sitting in my dads lap holding an NES controller before I was old enough to walk. To me 8-bit gaming represents a much happier time in life. Maybe it sounds a bit pathetic but I can mark every major event in my life through what games I was playing at the time and on which console. Even now that I’ve moved on to PC gaming I still keep up with console news because it’s become such an integrated part of my life.

I bought the Odyessy system for the family one year. Then Intellivision came out and there were NO games made for Odyessy again!
/I don’t think it was Odyessy 200, though.

its amazing to know the console history, thanks to old grandparent consoles that now we can enjoy to feel gaming much better from time to time.
