    Should be named “people who don’t know how to read a contract and buy homes beyond their means towns”.
    I struggle to see exactly how a president is responsible for this kind of situation. People who lost their homes now can’t even afford an apartment? How did they ever think they could pay a mortgage in the first place.

    Do they check property records to make sure your house got repossessed before they let you live in Bushtown, or can anyone live there?

    The BBC isn’t neutral. They love stories that exagerate America’s failures. Also, I have a hard time believing the people in this story ever really had their act together in the first place. Why are they jobless and obese? Signs of a lack of education I think. Shame on the lenders, but they were targeting undereducated fools.
