Earlier this week, Rudy had some kind of silly hearing where he had some witnesses PROVING BEYOND DOUBT that there was voter fraud. Here is one of the star witnesses (who also has a crime record for some undisclosed computer crime)
Comedian Julie Birke does a remix:
This guy needs to be impeached, charged, and jailed more than just about anybody whose name isn’t Trump.
Florida this week became the third US state to record a million coronavirus cases and yet the public there has been misled by state leadership about the extent and dangers of the pandemic, especially in the run-up to the presidential election, an investigation has concluded.
Governor Ron DeSantis’s administration has been engaged in a pattern of spin and concealment about Covid-19 amid the gravest health threat the state has ever faced, according to a South Florida Sun Sentinel investigation.
This isn’t shocking at all given that there is no leadership from federal levels whatsoever and scattered responses on state and local levels with almost everyone bowing to peer pressure to keep indoor dining and other high risk activities open. And the spike in deaths here is just the beginning most likely given that we’re just entering the post-Thanksgiving infection numbers.
The U.S. reported 3,157 deaths from COVID-19 Wednesday, by far the most for any one day in the pandemic. It comes as a record number of people are hospitalized or in intensive care.
Wednesday’s death toll, according to data by Johns Hopkins University, is about 20% higher than the previous record of 2,607 deaths recorded on April 15. More than 5,700 COVID-19 deaths have been reported by JHU over the past two days.
This, soooooo much:
Former President Obama said political candidates lose support when using “snappy” slogans like “defund the police,” in an interview scheduled to be released Wednesday.
Obama told Peter Hamby, who hosts a Snapchat political show “Good Luck America,” that those who use the slogan could jeopardize their goals of enacting meaningful reforms for police.
“You lost a big audience the minute you say it, which makes it a lot less likely that you’re actually going to get the changes you want done,” the former president said in the interview scheduled to go live at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Axios.
It’s such a bad slogan in so many different ways. Besides the obvious of it scaring off anybody near the center of the spectrum, everybody had a different explanation of what it even meant. It ranged from complete abolishment of the police, to redirection of some of their budget to social services. I’m really happy that Biden just basically deflected it and stayed away. Yes, policing in this country is out of control with inflated budgets and virtually no accountability, and the way to change this is to WIN public offices, not lose them by scaring off a good portion of voters so you can have a twitter slogan.
