I liked Bernie better in 2016 to be honest. I didn’t see him add anybody new to his support this time around and it looks like he lost a lot of supporters. I never did vote for him. I voted for Clinton in 2016 and Warren this past primary. I would have of course given him my vote if he did get the nomination because anybody who doesn’t vote Trump out (and that means voting Democrat, sorry, but it is what it is) is just enabling the most corrupt, stupidest, and worst president in the history of the country take a 2nd term.
Of course, the Bernie Bros will start screaming about how the Democrats were all against Bernie (well, in their defense, this is true. Although I’m not sure why they think the Democratic National Committee would be for someone who is not actually a member of the Democratic party) but at the end of the day, the voters just didn’t want him. Twice.
As for Biden, well, I’m not a big fan of his either. My vote for 2020 will be mostly defensive. I’m hoping he chooses a good running mate now to actually give me some enthusiasm because the No Malarkey thing isn’t really revving me up.
