You have major, major industries and businesses which prosper during times of crisis and panic, such as a hurricane, which could destroy or greatly damage people’s homes, and it could interrupt the flow of water and electricity.”

  1. Any extra profit is lost through paying overtime to keep the shelves full, then for the day or two during the storm while the store is closed. And that’s before everyone comes back next week and returns all the hurricane supplies they bought but didn’t use.
