Kirk Cameron: Hurricanes Are Sent By God For ‘Humility, Awe And Repentance’

One of the weirdest things about Christians, other than their rap videos, is that they praise a loving god by showing off how many people he can kill, injure or economically destroy just for shits and giggles:

“When he puts his power on display it’s never without reason. There’s a purpose. And we may not always understand what that purpose is, but we know it’s not random and we know that weather is sent to cause us to respond to God in humility, awe and repentance.”

Didn’t Charles Manson have basically the same philosophy?

Sad that these people subscribe to a ‘just world’ hypothesis.
Accepting the opposite is real awe.
    Accepting death the real humility

Isn’t his 15 minutes of fame over already?

Chris, that Christian rap YouTube link should come with a warning label. I have never been so horrified.

I’m on the west coast of Florida, where we’re about to take a shit-kicking from Irma. A day ago it was headed for the east coast. Now it’s headed our way. I guess they pray harder on that side of the state.
