A comedian asks Neil Gaiman if he would be willing to read the entire Cheesecake Factory menu (which I haven’t been to in ages but if I recall correctly, the menu is so voluminous that it has a table of contents, index, and a prequel in the works) if she raised $500,000 for a charity of his choice:

And because he’s not just a great artist but a great person, he said yes. He chose UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency. I want to hit this goal by World Refugee Day on June 20.
This seems like an excellent charity to donate to at any time but especially with Trump in power who just wants to create fear of refugees. Here’s Neil Gaiman’s post about it.
And I deleted everything in my RSS feed so that I’m starting the news cycle fresh. I see from Comrade Trump’s Twitter feed that he’s angry at Germany and the Fake News again. What did Germany do?
Thanks to all of the kind comments yesterday. I really appreciate it. And I have stayed away from the news. Friday’s are slow news days anyway so it’s not like there would be breaking news about a high level aide to Trump, like Kushner, trying to set up secret communications channels to our biggest rival or anything. So I’ll just admire some of the views of this amazing city.
