Chuck’s about four feet from the mic, just going through the motions, John’s channeling Jagger’s grating “country” accent, and that lame sax player sounds like he was just fired from a wedding band for fucking up “The Hokey Pokey” yet again. Besides, IIRC, the whole gig was part of a legal settlement due to Chuck suing John over “Come Together”. Yoko’s pre-B-52’s vocals are the only stylistic thing about that song to survive the decade. Burr should stick to political humor.
