  1. I remember a time when I was in middle school and our teacher had us listen to Ravel’s ‘Bolero’. The assignment was to listen to the music and come up with a storyline. My take on it was a group of African hunters stalking a lion. This particular piece reminded me of that assignment, and I get a happy, Carribean or Rio de Janeiro feel to it. A somewhat tribunal party around a campfire with dancing. Anyway, that’s my take on this piece. Thanks for posting!

  2. Parts of it remind me of some of Neil Peart’s drum solos. And the beginning is almost like YYZ.
