Man Points Gun At “Rude” Tree Trimmers He’ll probably use the Stand Your Ground law:
Palm Coast, FL – A Palm Coast man is free on bond after deputies charge him with pulling a gun on 3 tree trimmers doing work on his daughter’s property.
65-year-old Lee David Williams (picture courtesy Flagler County Jail) posted a $1,500 bond on aggravated assault charges following his arrest at 3:07pm Monday from a home on Egan Drive.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office says they were called out to the home at 2:18pm Monday soon after 3 men – Lloyd Stevens, Jack Leake and Stephen Whatley – complained that Williams pointed a gun at them and demanded they leave the property.
When questioned, the 3 men told FCSO they were hired by a landscaper with the owner’s permission to cut down some trees on the property and grind the stumps.
