  1. Reminds me of the bunless chicken sandwich KFC had at one time. The insanely high salt content kept the thing sterile.

      It’s not unreasonable to think that your food gets handled by up to 6 people between the grill and your mouth. How many burger joints just hand you meat and a bun without a wrapper? I can’t think of any.

      1. Maybe it comes in a second wrapper that you remove before eating the edible wrapper.

    2. That’s because patogens aren’t posing any threat on a wrapper as they do on or if minced inside the burger.
