I was going to say the same thing…
It’s not unreasonable to think that your food gets handled by up to 6 people between the grill and your mouth. How many burger joints just hand you meat and a bun without a wrapper? I can’t think of any.
Maybe it comes in a second wrapper that you remove before eating the edible wrapper.
