Finally, someone else is saying it. I remember seeing that show and thinking what a dick he was. He’d ask the kids a question to get the ‘wrong’ response so he could prove a small child wrong by rubbing their nose in it.
Mr W: So Timmy, if I told you that I could pass this string through a block of ice, would you think that’s possible?
- Now, Timmy may be about 12, but he’s seen the show before. Timmy smartly replies, “yes”.
Mr W: Well, you wouldn’t think so, would you, normally? It doesn’t seem like it would.
Timmy: Oh… well, no, I guess not.
Mr W: Well see, I’m going to show you how that can be done!
… I may be paraphrasing, but it went down like this a lot.
