As a skateboarder of 22 years, I can think of few things I enjoy more than landing a new trick or watching someone else land one for the first time. This goes for skaters like Chris Cole, or a little kid dropping into a ramp for the first time.
Honestly, I can’t understand how people can watch team sports at all. If seen a basketball go in the hoop. I’ve seen baseballs get hit and caught. I’ve seen a football get thrown and caught. Skating and similar sports (if you want to call them that) will always have new variations and levels to attain.
they make footwear for basketball, soccer, skating, running, biking, walking, hiking, swimming, climbing, football… Is making special shoes for falling down my call to being a multi-millionaire?
“If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There’s no point in being a damn fool about it.” – W. C. Fields
It’s also been said that the definition of insanity is performing the same action repeatedly and expecting a different result. If nothing else, put on a damn helmet, fool!
Chris, why was your name in that – did you film it, or is that a different Chris Cole?
I was just thinking that. This guy has learned to fall well, and is smart enough to wear gloves. You could argue about a helmet, but I didn’t see his head touch the ground once.

His fall technique is made to look effortless, but he must have practiced at it a lot. I am really impressed.

My favorite part is when he didn’t stick the landing.

Apparently minor variations in an action can change the outcome of an event, even if it is usually only in a minor way.

Wow. I know I haven’t watched it in years, but Bart (El Barto) Simpson really lost the ability to skateboard.

I am very impressed with this instructional video on proper falling technique.
The guy really makes it look effortless, and he clearly practiced for years. Very informative!

I know what you mean, but it’s kind of funny to think that he’s fallen so many times he’s become good at it.

If you want to learn how to fall safely, you should look into the martial art, Aikido.

The consumer art of purchasing a helmet would be helpful in this wise also.
