I think people are learning just to stay off of main in downtown and off of Fannin in the Med Center. I think that was the plan all along. They even made a section of Main pedestrians and trains only.

All this is going to start again in a year and a half when the University line opens.

Must be nerve-wracking being the operator of one of those trains. You’ve got to believe there are half a dozen close calls for every collision. Old locomotives had “cow-catchers” on the front–shouldn’t there be a bunch of those still around in Texas?
