Quick pickling sure sounds useful – but I lost all interest when the guy said that this recipe takes 95% of the heat out. The heat’s the best part, dude.
I tried this yesterday and the heat is still there (rinsed them like he did). I like my heat, but I was actually hoping for less heat for these. Maybe after sitting overnight in the fridge they’ll be less spicy? I’ll know at lunch.

I may be missing something but one can buy these in both a can or bottle here in Texas for about $2 complete with all the jalapeno spiciness.
