Guy Fieri is Weirded Out By Gays

You know how you had that feeling that Guy Fieri was an uber-douche but had no concrete evidence to back it up?

“You have to protect Guy from all of his poop jokes,” Page says. “Anytime any woman mentioned ‘cream,’ Guy went into a sexual riff. When cutting the show, you had to tell the editors to watch Guy’s eye line, because it’s always on breasts.”

Fieri also needed protection from homosexuals, or at least advance warning. Early in the show’s run, Page got a phone call from Fieri, who’d just walked out of a restaurant in a huff.

“Guy had decided that the two men running the restaurant were life partners,” Page remembers. “He said, ‘You can’t send me to talk to gay people without warning! Those people weird me out!'”

From then on, show researchers were required to note any indications of homosexuality detected during pre-interviews. (Fieri declined to comment for this story through his spokespeople.)

Former field producer Kari Kloster confirms that Fieri made the odd demand about gay guests, and says she witnessed the star become more controlling on set.

  1. As if I needed yet another reason to totally loathe this waste of space. I just want to pistol whip him every time I see him in a restaurant kitchen in flip-flops and those stupid glasses worn backwords.(BUt that’s just me. I do all the cooking and am uber-sensitive that way.) 😉

  2. Given this new information, I now have an even stronger argument to Change The Damn Channel when my husband wants to watch Fieri’s food show.

  3. I have no idea who he is and just by his appearance I find him repulsive. (But I’m sure he’d find me repulsive, too. So we’re even.)

  4. Right, a one-sided article that, instead of making him look bad, manages to make the head of his production company look like a complete douche — and contains random allegations from people that work for the company that was dropped — is total proof that he hates the gays..
