1. I love how she says that cocktail time is “next.” Like she hasn’t already knocked back a couple or five before heading to the set.

  2. Yes, that is a heirloom cake indeed. I figure that once it dries, the inch-thick, nearly bulletproof shell of frosting will preserve this “cake” for generations to come. This will look really good on the mantelpiece as holiday decoration.

    Or is this really intended for human consumption? If so, each piece of cake should be served with a napkin, a large fork and an insulin shot.

  3. I don’t even see the point of the cardboard. They serve no structural function because there aren’t any vertical columns between them like you might have with a wedding cake (I’ve only seen a hundred or more wedding cakes) It’s like she put them in to make it LOOK like she knows what she’s doing.
