From ABC News:
The House of Representatives Friday passed a measure to end federal funding for abortion provider Planned Parenthood a day after Rep. Jackie Speier, D-Calif., brought the chamber to stunned silence after describing her own personal experience with abortion.
Friday afternoon, the House passed the amendment by a vote of 240-185. The vote was generally along party lines, with all but seven Republicans voting for the cut, and 10 Democrats voting in favor. One Republican voted present.
The House must still vote for final passage on the underlying spending bill before the cuts head to the Senate for a possible vote later this month.
Here is the video of Jackie Speier discussing her own abortion:

The war on women who dare to have sex continues.
It gets worse. Franklin wants to create a Uterus Police to investigate miscarriages, and requires that any time a miscarriage occurs, whether in a hospital or without medical assistance, it must be reported and a fetal death certificate issued. If the cause of death is unknown, it must be investigated. If the woman can’t tell how it happened, than those Uterus Police can ask family members and friends how it happened. Hospitals are required to keep records of anyone who has a spontaneous abortion and report it. Yup, we’ve been waiting for someone to suggest this–and Franklin has.
The complete bill is here for your bathroom reading.
This isn’t the first WTF moment for Bobby Franklin. He’s also lobbied to have rape “victims” referred to as rape “accusers”. He has equated the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell to letting ‘unrepentant’ drug dealers in the military. Oh and he wants to do away with driver’s licenses because there’s nothing about needing one to drive a car in the Constitution.
