That was PAINFUL, but there’s a payoff about 3:40+ when I laughed out loud, followed by Jan Brewer quote: Nobody in Arizona is laughing. I can’t believe I watched the whole thing, I just gaped in horror at this video and the song, but the end of the song was hilarious to me, I guess I just needed the release?
While I’m all for securing the border, I find that metaphor to be incredibly disrespectful to Pearl Harbor and its veterans (and its victims) as a whole, particularly the U.S.S Arizona itself. Writing “Mexico” in a Japanese-looking Graffiti script and comparing the Government to the Japanese attackers? How many races is he trying to offend? I’ve never liked Ray Stevens’ music anyway, but now I really don’t like him either.
He sings, “She [Arizona] can handle the illegals” but the whole song is about securing the borders. If she can handle it, what’s the problem, Ray?

I guess I just learned two things today…
Ray Stevens is a Kool-Aid swilling dick.
Ray Sevens is still alive… who knew?

Glenn Beck would rub himself all over and moan if he heard this splendid piece of bullshit.

I liked him better when he wrote songs about squirrels running up women’s legs.
