1. I’m glad someone sees what I see. Things like this make me sick. Instead of applauding the guy that reeled it in they should be booing him.

      1. I don’t think he was on the line, I just think the guy was trying to poke at it with his rod. That shark looked to be swimming around pretty freely to me but I could be wrong.

  1. Why does “Raw Video” always seem to translate into: Can’t hold camera steady and can’t keep subject in frame?

    At least this isn’t one of those head-tilting videos shot in portrait direction.

  2. I agree, AaronD. This is a perfect example of someone taking a completely simple shot (with absolutely NO need to walk around while filming or fling the camera around in self-defense) and making it look like they were filming in a hurricane. Ridiculous.

  3. In 2000, the year with the most recorded shark attacks, there were 79 shark attacks reported worldwide, 16 of them fatal.
    At estimated 100 million sharks are killed each year by humans. (Source: Humane Society of the United States).

    At that rate those kids who saw that shark will probably be the last generation to see them.
