    The one critical thing that video didn’t show was the crunch factor. I am concerned they would be little strips of tasty flavoured leather.

  • Alternate method:
    Fill 6 quart Pyrex bowl with corn oil
    Add sliced potatoes
    Microwave on high for 1 hour 45 minutes.
    Salt to taste

    Damn you Chris, I’m hungry now.. next time I have a potatoe, guess what I’m going to do with it, and guess what I’m going to dip it in.. That’s right! I’m going to bake a potatoe and dip it in butter.. and maybe a bit of cheese, yeah cheese.. though, I will try these instructions I received from the video you posted.. will inform everyone of mt results.. will use “Rooster” potatoes

    I tried it yesterday and the crunch was awesome. Really amazed at how well it worked. It is a tiny amount of chips, but it’s good for when you just have to have something that seems not good for you.
