1. if by “cute” you mean “horrible mentally disturbing and will haunt my dreams for decades”, then yeah. you’re right. that’s some scary shit right there.

    2. I dunno, I think it looks a lot like what I usually see.

Wait, I’ll bet you’re one of those reading that New Reformed Necronomicon.

Heretic! Expunge the heathen! Tekeli-li! Tekeli-li! Iä! Iä!

  1. He looks like he could use a magazine and do you mind shutting that door? How much of an Elder God do you have to be to get a little privacy around here?!

Oops, there I go channeling again…

  2. I always saw Ctulhu described as a “Cephalopod” monster. It’s interesting to see that the only cephalopod part Lovecraft made him is the head. He’s like a fat bird that got his head chomped by squiddly diddly

    1. Lovecraft stories occasionally have a Ctulhu idol in them and I think that’s what this is supposed to be.

I didn’t realize that Ctulhu had more than two eyes or that he was covered in scales. This picture shows us that over the years artists haven’t put as much creativity into making Ctulhu pictures horrifying enough. Why not give Ctulhu five spider eyes or claw hands or make him look fat or have a head that looks like thin skin rapped over a bare brain ? The stories don’t say he DIDN’T look like that.
