The 15 most toxic places to live

From The Mother Nature Network:

As the world’s population balloons to almost 7 billion, it’s become more and more difficult to find anywhere on Earth unaffected by man-made pollution and development, and far too often it takes things going really wrong before people take action to keep our planet clean. So here’s a list that might help to motivate: The 15 most polluted places in the world.

(Ok, number 16, the Earth’s orbit, may be polluted but I think there a few other reasons why I wouldn’t want to live there.)

  1. This is really interesting, and startling. However, I grew up and regularly visit one place on this list (Appalachia). Mountain top removal sucks, sure, but it hardly makes the area inhabitable.

  2. We have failed. We have failed each other, we have failed our planet and we have failed? as a race. It’s over, we have reach the point of no return. Even though there are many people out there who are still concerned and have a genuine desire to fix this planet, they are out numbered by the people destroying it. Watch the news and you see that it gets worse everyday.

    We have failed!
