  1. I love how the husband is the one who “pays” for everything and handles the billing.

I intend to marry a woman much smarter than I am so I never have to deal with bills. Let’s see if she’s book smart but not street smart so I can trick her into handling them!

I caught that too. I got a kick out of the slow burn on his face as he frowned and shook his head while reading her invoice.

  3. Interesting how old sci-fi films, and general predictions about the future from back then never seemed to get that we’d still be using QWERTY keyboards here in the future.

  4. I switched from QWERTY to DVORAK for a few months back in 2001.

    Big mistake.

Any improvement was minor, and every keyboard became my enemy. We’re stuck with it now, as well as the craptacularly inkonsitent speling of the English langwage and base 10 maths.

Wouldn’t it be better to work in base 8 or 16, or even binary, now that we’re a digital culture?

Guess not. Time to go back to my Cuneiform practice.
