Pat Robertson Comments on the Earthquake in Chile

HA!

“Something happened a long time ago in Chile, and people might not want to talk about it,” Robertson said. “They were under the heel of the democratically elected SOCIALIST regime of Salvador Allende …and they got together and swore a pact to the chupacabra. They said, ’We will serve you if you’ll get us free from the the man we elected president, and install a military dictatorship that will make thousands of ‘troublemakers disappear.’” ”True story,” he continued. “And the devil said, ‘OK, it’s a deal.’ Ever since, they have been cursed by one thing after another.”

  1. hahaha, what an asshole.
i’m still waiting to hear about robertson and phelps having a gay love affair. someone should take some gay porn picture and photoshop their faces on to the image and send it to them.
    that would be hilarious.

  2. I thought this was real and was fuming about it….until I saw elsewhere that it was fake.

The sad thing is, Pat Robertson could very well say something like this.

  3. I’m still mad at Robertson for his comments on the Mount St Helens eruption in 1980. He said the people of southern Oregon had been upset by anti-marijuana laws and turned to worshiping Sasquatch – and invited the wrath of god! Whatta butthead.

  4. For those who still didn’t get it, it’s an exact copy of his statement about Haiti, except they put the Chupacabra and Allende references.
But considering what a nutjob he is, it could as well be a real quote.
