1. I’ll sometimes switch the DVD to another language just to hear Yoda talk in Spanish. “Dos Jedis es moui mysterioso, siiii.” Cracks me up every time.

  2. I’m not sure where this fits into the Star Wars cannon. It probably happened in Episode IV while 3PO was on the Death Star. Darth Vader probably ran into him at some point, remembered him from his childhood, and they did their little dance.

  3. And suddenly, the Star Wars Christmas Special has a cousin from across the pond reveal itself, and rejoices, taking comfort in knowing: I’m not alone. I am not…alone.

    (But you still suck)

  4. Wow, what a trip back in time! The announcer at the start says that “this year’s cinematic event was George Lucas’ film ‘Star Wars'”, and the blond guy is none other than French mega-star Claude François, who, as you can see from that article, died in March 1978. As the first Star Wars was released in May 1977, that places the clip pretty squarely between then and March 1978.

  5. I wonder, did the choreographer actually see the movie or just a poster? The music is from the USA and was a huge hit for a few weeks in the late 1970s.
