I’ve heard stories from studio musicians that whenever John was recording in the studio with Yoko, he’d pretend to drop things so he could duck behind a convenient counter or speaker to hide his laughter. He knew she was a joke. I always felt like his audience and fans were the butt of that joke.

  2. I can see how what Brontie says above could totally be the case. Someone with a love and knowledge of music like John Lennon had could not possibly think that actually sounded good. It’s like he employed her as a weapon against people he felt were exploiting him.
