Two Freight Trains in a Head on Collision

At 5:54am on Wednesday June 14th, 2006 two Burlington Northern Santa Fe trains were involved in a head-on collision. One of the locomotives had a camera on board and captured the incident. No one was killed in the incident, although crew in the train with the camera on board were seriously injured. Crew members from the other train can be seen bailing out shortly before the collision.

    The only thing missing is the bridge with some dynamite.

    Did someone explain to these two drivers that playing chicken with Locomotives is a bad idea….. they are on tracks and can’t turn at the last possible moment.
