Man what ever happened to Susan Powter? What a freaking windbag. Blah blah blah. Can you imagine being her personal assistant? Or the poor suckers that had to work that shoot? All that knowledge being shared day and night.

If you stand in front of a camera make sure you have something to say and you can say it well. And if you are good at entertaining, try to leave them wanting more. This is NOT entertainment or education and I certainly dont want more of it.

Forget the delivery, I can attest to the eeriness/sanctity of having a store all to yourself at night/early morning. It is quite fun to fantasize about ransacking the place.

I don’t understand all of the negative comments on her looks. (Insert confused emoticon here)… she was the late-night tv workout lady, right? I remember her being a little crazy in the richard simmons too-much-energy kind of way. Wonder what she does nowadays. I imagine her as a local tv morning show host for some reason.

I actually HAVE this video in my VCR tape collection.
@Will: that was her preferred hairstyle at the time, when she was hetero and married. Nowadays she’s worn dreadlocks and other long styles, and she’s now lesbian. I did see a pic of her the other day where she is again sporting the crewcut, though.
And if you see her in a body shot, you will NOT think she looks “manlike” at all. Quite a great figure, actually. I have to admit she’s rather strident in her urging us to “eat, move and breathe”; no doubt it works, but she is a dedicated fanatic about fitness.
