    The only thing stranger than driving into a dust storm would be doing it on the wrong freaking side of the road…those Aussies seem to take it in stride, though. “When we get done sandblasting the paint off the car, we’ll just throw another shrimp on the barbie, mate! ..”

  • I’ve seen storms like that in Arizona. You might think that dust storms are something that build up gradually, but out here there is a very distinctive boundary, usually ahead of a thunderstorm with big . Sort of spooky and dangerous when driving. The dust storm scene in the movie Bound For Glory did a good job of creating the effect.
