Prepare to hit the message boards to defend your favorites, and follow the countdown all the way to Number 1.

Blame this link if I don’t post anything else for the rest of the day.

  1. Great, if infuriating link. I was mildly irritated that “(She’s So) Heavy” was so far down the list, but damn-near outraged that “Magical Mystery Tour” only made it to 172! I’m almost afraid to see what happened to the great “I Am the Walrus” and “Tomorrow Never Knows”! While the ranking is, by design, questionable, the write-ups about each song are interesting. I have a feeling I’ll be spending a lot of time here…

  2. Wow, I read through a few before I realized that with a little HTML know-how and enough time, even horribly mundane thinkers can produce internet epics. I do sometimes enjoy the work of various OCD sufferers, but that has more to do with the amount of material they can write about the most banal activities, like feeding their cat or rewiring their TV. This guy acheives that level of talent and make the Beatles about as interesting.
