Apparently it’s ok as long as you pack the charcoal, sulphur, and saltpetre in 3oz plastic bags.

    I’m no gun expert, but if you water down the gunpowder, isn’t it rendered useless at that point?

    Making gunpowder’s a lot harder than this guy thinks it is. It would take quite a while for the resultant mixture to dry, and then he’d have to break/grind it all back up again.

    He might as well have carried a rusty nail and some aluminum filings and claimed he successfully snuck some thermite on board.
