This is a true movie treasure… I’m not that fond of Tarantino’s writing, but you can’t help but admire that line — “So that’s one thing we’ve both got in common: We’d both fuck Elvis.” I love that. It’s like “Things to do in Denver when dead” — “I am Godzilla; you are Japan!”
And Gary Oldman’s performance, while completely out of line and over the top — brilliant. That man is a true genius.

I was going to school in London when this movie was playing at the Prince Charles Theater. I saw it every day after classes for a week and a half. Just loved evry minute of it.
