I haven’t read all the material yet, but I recognize Christmas Island from “Beyond Trinity: The Atomic Bomb Movie”. Isn’t that where UK did their above-ground nuclear weapons testing?
Isn’t that a little like putting Guantanamo on Bikini Atoll? I wonder if there’s residual radiation? Or maybe there is, and that’s intimidation to escapees, Alcatraz style.
