Detailed Photo Map of the Human Eye

From DiscoverMagazine.com:

The inside of your eye is one thing you’re guaranteed never to get a good look at. Even if you could, the pupil is far too small an aperture to allow you to see the entire interior. University of Michigan ophthalmologic photographer Richard Hackel compares the problem to taking a picture of a room through a keyhole. To overcome this hurdle, Hackel uses a computer program to stitch together images taken from 20 different angles by a special digital camera. The result is an unusual, fully detailed map of the inside of a healthy 26-year-old’s eye.

  1. My wife is an Ophthalmic Photographer for a retina specialist. You should see the inside of an unhealthy 65-year-old’s eye. THAT’S pretty amazing.

With that said, she’s going to enjoy this link.

OH CONTRAIRE! clearly YOU have never been to the optician to get a contact lense check! every time that woman in a white plastic coat leans over me, two millimetres from my face, breathing quietly, with the lights turned off, and shines a torch into my eyeball i think.. this could make a good porn film. then i see the inside of my eye and think, no, a good horror film, maybe.
