From CityRag:
Bruce Potts is a teacher of Public Speaking at the University of New Mexico and has a full tribal face tattoo. He has a straight forward attitude and imparts a cool vibe of acceptance. We’ll bet his students get an extra edge on using demeanor and attitude in public speaking. And a life long lesson on not judging books by their covers. Either that or they study really hard because they’re afraid he’ll eat them.

I have actually seen this guy walking down the street one time and its awesome. Its good that there are still people who want to be themselves. There are to many people out there who want to be what they see on tv. you have to be yourself and be true to yourself.

We have a guy here in Tucson with the full facial tattoo called the “Scary Guy”. This guy looks tame in comparison. To each his own I guess.

I actually showed off this pic not to long ago on a blog post, to tattoo the face or not.
I personally think the tattoo fits him. His smile seems so sincere and the vibrant colors I bet really reflect his personality. I would love to meet him in person!

It is incredible the level of discrimination that is still SO BLATANT and REPUGNANT. I wish I could find those people out there who have the audacity to call anyone else gross. You know what I think, I think anyone who can look at another human being who has not hurt anyone and say they are gross, and screwed up needs a good old school beat down, lock in a sock style. So there is my quasi intelligent, ghetto ass opinion.

This is the reason why I think the majority of humans are a waste of molecules. All you see is the tattoo, forget about a man that has accomplished something, forget he’s a person with feelings, forget he’s a teacher, let’s all just focus in on how much his face is tattooed, lets not bother listening to the insight this man most likely has being ridiculed for the decisions he has made. And why bother wearing a suit and tie you ask? Are you freaking serious? He’s a man, he dresses up just like everyone else, so because he has his face tattooed he shouldn’t bother? That’s just absolutely ridiculous and ignorant. This is the problem with humans, we find faults in everything, we judge, we put down everything others feel and say if they don’t match or own, we make accusations about people we know nothing about, but since his face is tattooed he must be a scumbag right? It takes an extraordinary human to look past the surface, the flaws, only to see what lies beyond. Next time you meet someone like this, why don’t you stop them and talk to them, ask them about it, learn. This planet will never survive when humans cant even put their differences aside for a simple idea, peace. Next time you decide to judge someone based on their looks, why don’t you look in the mirror first and figure out what kind of human you are yourself. Hopefully you’re not a pitiful disgrace of existence like most.

If we do whatever pleases us always, not minding how such things might rub off on others, I don’t think that is a responsible attitude.

Ah… screw it:
Shopped. The suit that is. You can totally see the pixels outlining the neck.

It’s chopped. The blurlines near the neck give it away. Nice message though. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

Not “shopped”. He teaches at UNM, where I go to school. He seems like a nice guy, but I never had him as a teacher. I always see him talking to students on campus. Mr. Potts, Big ups!
