Stripper Audition Polaroids from the 60s & 70s

No nudity but slightly nsfw.

This photo came from a collection of over 400 Polaroid photos of strippers trying out for dancing jobs at a So. Cal club. They were taken from the late 1960′s thru the early 1970′s. I bought the entire collection for $10.

  1. Emily,

    I wonder who was selected…

  2. danceswithtrout,

Wow. That was somewhere between eerie and quaint. Gone are the days when strippers had names like “Linda” and “Joyce,” and all the backdrop you needed for a photo shoot was a set of cinderblock bookshelves and a Muppet-skin rug.
