Japanified Movie Posters

JohnyTex1.jpg

Ok ok, they’re photoshopped but some are very funny.

Esuvee

This appears to be some type of viral marketing and as far as I can see it is some anti SUV campaign. Kind of confusing though.

Tricks With Hats

hattricks.jpg

Welcome to the tricks section! We’re attempting to catalogue every hat move we can think of, give them all names (which is the hard bit!) and put up a video clip and description so that you can learn them. If you have any handy hints for learning these tricks, please use the contacts section to let us know and we’ll add your advice…

I’m Just Saying

ratzinger.jpg

If I had to choose the new pope, I probably would have gone with one of the non-Hitler Youth cardinals. But that’s just me.

Update:
I am getting a lot of email of differing opinions about Ratz… er Pope Benedict XVI being in the Hitler Youth and why it should or shouldn’t matter since it was compulsory. For the record, I have no clue whether he joined because he had no choice or he goosestepped as fast as he could to join the Hitler Youth. I just think that they would have been better off electing a pope that didn’t have that baggage. I mean we are talking about the Pope, the heir to St. Peter. Why would you elect anyone to that position that had anything to do with the Nazis?

Realistic McDonald’s Slogans

Imlovinit.jpg

Heh.

Granted, McDonald’s and I have a history, but isn’t this all a little presumptuous? And do they really need to be dragging the L word into it? They didn’t even have the courtesy to say they were lovin’ me back! (I won’t lie. It stings.)

I thought I’d help Ronald out and whip up my own set of McStickers that cover a slightly larger emotional spectrum

Tetris Shelves

These are neat, until you find out they cost $7,000.00!

Reagan’s Raiders Comic

reagansraider.jpg

The 1980′s brought us plenty of things we’d rather forget. Among those things there were shitty comics, and a shitty president, but it wasn’t until Monroe Arnold tried his hand at writing comics (luckily for the first and last time.) that those two pillars of shittiness were combined forming perhaps one of the worst comics I’ve ever had the pleasure of owning.

The Food Timeline

Ever wonder what foods the Vikings ate when they set off to explore the new world? How Thomas Jefferson made his ice cream? What the pioneers cooked along the Oregon Trail? Who invented the potato chip…and why? Welcome to the Food Timeline.

History of the Batmobile

1949-batmobile.jpg

Yes, above is the 1949 version of the Batmobile (in Batman and Robin Serials)

The Batmobile made its career debut in Batman #5, then appeared on a comic cover for the first time for Batman #20. Because of different artists’ interpretations of what the car should be, it changed size, shape, and features frequently. Later, as the car was marketed beyond the comics, more forms appeared based on practical or aesthetic considerations. In the 1960s, the first full size, fully operational Batmobile was built for the TV show Batman, and had to face financial and functional questions.
