Here we go again

ballot.jpg

Kevin from Political Animal has a post about some absentee ballots (pictured above) in MI that were sent out and seem to be in order except for the little detail of the arrows lining up with the correct candidate. The whole ballot is scanned and you can find it here. How does something like this happen after everything in 2000? Is it that difficult to make an unobfuscated ballot?

Update:

Here is an article about the mixup. The funny part about this article is it is blaming blogs for the paranoia. After what happened in FL four years ago I would think they would realize that it isn’t the blogs that are making people a bit jittery out when something like this happens but all that bull that happened last election.

Howard Stern to Move to SIRIUS

Looks like I am going to have to get satellite radio.

“King of All Media” Howard Stern and SIRIUS announced today an epic agreement whereby Stern will move to SIRIUS beginning January 1, 2006.

The world-renowned Stern is credited with revolutionizing the talk radio format. He is the No. 1 radio host among males 18-49 and ranks No. 1 in many of the 46 major markets where his show is broadcast, including New York and Los Angeles. Through SIRIUS’ nationwide broadcast system, Stern will be heard in every market across the country.

Rodney

This site has a bunch of Rodney Dangerfield one liners. I always found Rodney hilarious. Caddyshack was by far my favorite movie although Back to School was terrific too.

Here are some of my favorite lines:

I come from a stupid family. During
the civil war my great uncle fought
for the west!

My father was stupid. He worked in a
bank and they caught him stealing
pens.

I had a lot of pimples too. One day
I fell asleep in a library. I woke
up and a blind man was reading my
face.

Last week I saw my psychiatrist. I told him, “Doc, I keep thinking I’m a dog.” He told me to get off his couch.

Fourteen Characteristics of a Serial Killer

The Charlatan’s Dr. Phil’s site is kind enough to give some parenting tips. One of the tips is how to identify if your child will turn out to be a serial killer.

Could you be raising a criminal? Acts of violence don’t come out of nowhere, and every parent should be aware of the clues along the way. For the most violent of criminals, there are warning signs that often start in childhood. Below is a list of the 14 most common traits of serial killers.

The Jet-Man Project

jetman01.jpg

Following the “Flying Man” project, the logical “next step” was to accomplish the secret dream of being able to fly like Superman or the Rocketeer. To do this, motorizing the wings was to be achieved in order to be able to let the first flying man ever to fly horizontal level !

If you thought the hostess wedding cake was a bit tacky, perhaps the Krispy Kreme wedding cake is more up your alley.

All Look Same

016a.jpg

I got 5 right on this test. The average is 7 correct.

Chinese. Japanese. Korean. What’s the difference? Some say it’s easy to see. Others think it’s difficult – maybe even impossible. Who can really tell? That’s what we want to find out. For this first test, we’ll show you a series of 18 picutres of CJKs. Select which country you think each is from. When you’re finished we’ll tell you your score and how you stack up to others.
