Billionaires for Bush

I think this is a clever idea:

Billionaires for Bush is a strategic media and street theater campaign whose combustible mix of humor, savvy messaging, grassroots participation, and cutting edge internet organizing tools will flush out the truth about the Bush administration’s disastrous economic policies and help turn the fatcats out of power in November.

Economic justice arguments tend to get dismissed as “class warfare,” but the Billionaires — by impersonating the super-wealthy in a boosterish, over-the-top manner, and cheering on George Bush and his economic policies — are able to paint the President as a friend of the wealthy with surprising effectiveness. It’s a back door that allows class issues to be aired in surprisingly sharp terms.

They were protesting Bush in Boston yesterday. The funny part was at first all the other protesters weren’t sure whose side they were on.

This is alot like the Confluence project that I posted about a few days ago. is the birthplace of GPS Photography. When you take a photograph, you are capturing an image of a particular place and time. When you show this image to someone, they get to experience a little bit of what you experienced when you were there. Wouldn’t it be great if you could share an experience with someone and give them the means to go and get that experience for themselves? Thats what GPS Photography at allows.
